Do your ADFs talk to you?

I have a pair of African dwarf frogs in a community tank. The larger one seems to call me. I'll hear him and look and he's always angled toward me, just hanging out near the bottom.

I've never had frogs before and this is really cool. I didn't know they verbalized. Do they interact with you, or is my guy probably just calling his mate?

My husband thinks I'm nuts. He hasn't heard the buzzing yet.

ROFL - yes, the male I believe is the one which does the calling. It is an odd, small electronic buzzing noise. I thought there was an electronic device on the fritz somewhere in the house. Ours would just make noise and then we got him a female companion. Our last one was a rescue and then my friend loved them and took them home.
