Does anyone know what this is?

This weird tiny white strands appeared on the edges of my 15g freshwater tank overnight, does anyone know how they got there, if they're dangerous and how I can get rid of them? They're about 3mm long and appeared when I turned off my filter due to the fry in the tank. The filter is back on now but these are still remaining on the tank. Thanks!

Maybe worms? Do they move

They are planaria they feed on excess detritus in the substrate. When the population explodes like that you need to step up your water changes and they'll go away.
