As above. Just wondering if carbon counteracts plant nutrients like it does treatments? Thanks

Just to add ... Carbon in your filter really has no useful everyday filtration purposes. It's best used for removing meds and or tannins. Most experienced members don't even bother running it in their filters. I haven't had Carbon in my filter in 2-years.

I don't use carbon in all my other tanks, just this one as there was some tanins from new wood. I have now took it out though as its cleared up. Just checking if the plant nutrients I put in was a waste or not? I have looked at the link but I don't think it gives a direct answer? Maby I read it wrong?
