Eel farming anyone?

Anguillid eels are an important food source in many areas of the world, and are widely cultured. Large, live eels are especially sought-after by restaurateurs. In 1992, a typical 12 kg A. marmorata retailed for US$ 1,000 in China (Williamson and Boëtius 1993).

Franksaquarium.com sells these critters for $10 each...
 
Good luck growing the thing to 27lbs in a home aquarium....

prolly take 4-5 years too.

Plus to get that $1000 you've got to get the thing to china.

Yeah, that looks like waaay to much time and money to make it a decent profit.
