Empty snail shell???

I got home today to find one of my snails shells empty and him nowhere to be found...just a communitry tank, most agrressive fish are the 3 tiger barbs...nothing that I know of that would have attacked it...any ideas??

Doesn't take long....I have seen a good-sized bridgesii completely cleaned out in 2-3 hours, and tankmates waste no time getting to it.

I left the house for an hour and came back to an empty gold snail shell. I'd forgotten to move my snails when I got my loaches. :P
