Here's and early incarnation of a totally plastic tank. It changes every 4 to 6 weeks when I remove them to do a deep gravel vac, then re-insert them.

I think the dark red with the green really looks nice. It really depends on what color gravel you go with. I like mine, as you can see, it is pretty neutral.

LOL, no his nose is actually at the glass begging for food, but the photo makes it look like he's sticking to the side I guess.
