Feeding peas

I already feed blanched Zucchini and my Swordtails and Endler's love it.

I see from another thread (I searched before asking) that peas are good to feed. Do I find fresh peas in a pod, blanch, shell, mash and then just put in the tank. My guess is that it will float.

Will frozen peas work or is the nutrition gone?

Frozen peas work too. That's what most people use. Canned will work as well.
