Our fishless cycle is done. Ammonia and trites yesterday at 0 and trates were roughly 20. Did a 75% wc and lowered temp. Checked this morning Ammonia and trites still at 0 and trates were down between 5 and 10.

Now I know they say do not change filter media out yet but does anyone know when you can? We would like to take the carbon I believe out and put it in our other tank that is still cycling with fish.

You could take it out now (replace it with something else though, like a filter pad or sponge) and then keep dosing ammonia to see if taking out the carbon affects the cycle at all. Best to do it now before fish are in there. Then once ammonia keeps going to 0 every 24 hours and if nitrites stay at 0 for at least 3-5 days then you can add fish.

Congratulations for your almost finished cycle. :D :D :D :D
