food..??

what kind of like "meaty" or bigger foods can i feed my fish ..mostly for tinfoil barbs as they are quite large and flake is just not cuttin it anymore. im trying to stay away from feeders because of disease ..so any ideas?

You could always quarantine the feeder fish/shrimp or do pellets made specifically for them

I feed my fish blood worms(also known as tubifex worms), and they love them. They like live better than frozen I think. They go at it like a pack of wolves on a wounded deer.

Back home at my favorite LFS, they sold baby brine shrimp in like a to-go condiment container. My fish loved them.

All frozen food would be good! Krill, brine shrimp, bloodworms, and maybe you can find some beefheart somewhere.
If my BGK would have lived, I would have probably gotten earthworms for him.
