Goldfish are coldwater fish. You can't keep them with tropical fish. Not well. And that's just the start of the reasons for why you shouldn't... What kind of parrot fish, what size tank?

Parrot fish are in the cichlid family which means that they can be very territorial. I have a parrot fish and he is aggressive. They also get pretty big and he will see the goldfish as a food source sooner or later.

Goldfish require colder temps than parrots. They can be put in warm water tanks, but it will shorten their lifespan and may have ill side-effects. Parrots are best kept with other Cichlids or semi-aggressive fish.
