I presently own a 20gal tank of 4 Glo-Fish. I have completed several Was to no avail. The tank starts off clear but wait a few hours, it's back to green and cloudy. Please help!

What kind of lighting do you have?

What are your water parameters? NH4, NO2, NO3?

Does the tank get any natural sunlight?

How long has the tank been setup?

I use actinic bulbs.

Parameters are good.

No natural sunlight.

0.0 Nitrate? That doesn't seem right. Unless you have so much algae that it is uptaking all the nitrate.

I would get away from strictly actinic lighting on a FW tank. I would also suggest a 4 or 5 day black out to see if you can get back to a good starting point. That should be enough to end a green water issue. What kind of filtration do you have?
