Help! Cloudy water

My 55 gallon tank is all cloudy, idk what's wrong. Filter seems to be working fine. Any thoughts?

Nope, has been up and running for about 4 months

Have you changed anything recently like substrate, filter cartridge, decor?

Kind of a milky white. And no I havent changed a thing. That's why I'm so concerned.

So no new fish either?
Sounds like a bacteria bloom. Not harmful and will eventually clear.

Are you using canister filter?if so the white filter pads over time made mine go milky so changed to sump setup no more milky water can see all my fish now!"!

Not all all hydro is a well known method to help control cloudy water.


And in no way hurts any type of fish
