How to get java moss to grow?

I bought some java moss the other day. I want a lot of it and don't want to buy more. What can I do to make this clump grow. I have about a good fist sized amount right now.

You don't wanna keep in to tight of a clump either you want some flow going threw it or else te center part that's not getting like or flow will start to die
