I've just been browsing the net and wikipedia in particular.
I typed in rummy nose tetra and read some of the info on it, when a certain part got me thinking...

"Consequently, compatibility of these fishes with cooler water fishes is contra-indicated: for example, panda catfish would be a bad choice of companion as these fishes prefer lower temperatures, and there is little overlap in the temperature ranges of the two species."

As i plan on keeping both species i am now a little worried.
Does anyone keep both these fish?

TIA

I don't have any experience yet, but I'm planning on keeping some cory's with rummynose as well.

According to liveaquaria.com, the temp ranges are the same
Rummynose: 72°-77°
Panda Cory: 72°-79°

Yeah, temperatures should be overlapped pretty close actually. You might have issues with your KH in the higher ranges.

I supposed if I did a quick Google search, I would have found that. Yes, just like that. Someone get to work on it right away! Haha!

Whenever i come accross info like that it always puts some doubt in my mind or makes me think twice. Looks like they should be fine though, thanks for the replies.
