this proves that u need to shop around for aquarium hardware
one shop had weipro heaters 300w - 69.95 50w - 40.95
another one had same brand 300w - 29.95 50w - 20.95
so i bout 2 sets for spares
Oh, and i finally got my Black Ghost Knife.
Though he's a wee bit small, so he's goin in guppy tank to feed up for a while :D

He's not really feeding the guppies to the Ghost Knife directly, he's merely placing the Ghost Knife in a "guppy rich" environment and letting nature take its course :p
 
hehe trav hit the nail on the head..
casper the friendly ghost knife fish, is only around twice the size of a fully grown guppy, so it'll be a while before he starts eating them...

The way knives eat, you are going to be waiting a very long time before he gets to be big enough, since they basically swallow their food.
