The breeding tank I have set up in my bio class that will soon contain Zebra Danios and a pair of Kribensis has 64 watts of lighting on the tank. Would Java Fern and Water Sprite survive? I have alot of water sprite that I could put in it but Im not sure if it would survive... :?

64 watts for what size tank? Java Fern will survive easy but may be very slow to grow. Water sprite is generally a little more light loving but since it can be grown as a floating plant if you are willing to put it on the surface that will be enough light.

i may have missed it, but what size is this tank? if it is the 55 gallon listed in your profile, java fern will be able to survive but water sprite requires a bit more light than just 1wpg. average lighting will work, so if you can get it to around 2wpg, you should have no problem with growing it. also, if you're breeding these fish, throw in a bunch of java moss...
