My water Ph = 8.0 with 10 gallon tank of Discus

My water Ph = 8.0 with 10 gallon tank of Discus ... what to do ??? lowering PH and How by chemicals ... ???? .. i listen i may use phosphoric acid is that right ?????

Please take the discus back to the LFS you bought them from for their own good, then do a little more research on keeping that type of fish.

1) Discus require very soft water with a PH well below neutral (7.0).

2) Discus require a very large tank, larger than 55 gallons.

It's always better to research the fish you intend to buy before buying it.

Ten gallon tanks, unfortunately, are suitable for very few fish. If you like the discus look, maybe try taking a look at honey gouramis and dwarf gouramis.
