Need ideas for centerpiece fish

The key is the gonopodium, males have it females don't. 100% fail safe method.
The anal fin of males is fused to form this, in females it looks like an ordinary fin.

I think one of my Platy's is pregnant. She is fat.

Skip forward to 2:00 a pregnant platy. Note the second darker sphere near the vent.
You can see it the body cavity if the fish has the tank light behind her.

Keep an eye out (2:15) shows fry at a few days. They are very small, and easily lost in the gravel. So, when she gives birth, avoid siphoning for a few days, more like a fortnight!
