New filer?

Im cycling new aquarrium with new api filstar xp and used magnum 350. Been doing it for about 3 weeks but am considering replacing the magnum with a brand new filter. Should I do this before I stock the tank or will it be ok to do it down the road?

You shouldn't really have problems either way, but just try to carry over some of the filter media from your old magnum to whatever new filter you get.

That way, you won't have a sudden drop off in the levels of beneficial bacterial carrying out the biological filtration in your tank.
