Hi. I need a bit of advice on lowering PH levels. My tank is usually around 7.0-7.2...good for the most part. However I'd like to get a blue ram, which I know needs a slightly lower PH level. I have a piece of driftwood in the tank right now, and 4-5 live plants, along with one dwarf gourami and 4 skirt tetras.

I dont want to have to add anything to the tank (chemicals) to lower the PH.

Suggestions??? Thanks!! :)

7.2 is perfectly fine for rams. The key to ph is stability, so as long as it isn't wildly fluctuating then your fish will just adapt to whatever the ph level is. My ph tests at 8.2 out if the tap and I've never had trouble with GBRs.
