Hey guys!

Is there any reason why I shouldn't put seachem purigen in the top box of my fluval chi? (Beside it looking bad) Will it work properly in this location?

Thanks!

Purigen should be placed after the finest mechanical media possible to ensure the "bio-bag" does not clog with "goo."

From the Seachem website:

The key to any filtration media is that it is able to receive maximum water flow through it. For the most efficient filtration, we recommend placing filter media in the following order:
mechanical (sponge, filter floss) --> chemical (Purigen, carbon) --> biological (Matrix)
