Silk plant question

Received some mid range priced silk plants with a used aquarium I recently purchased and it looks like they may have been left sitting in the undrained aquarium for awhile as they have a definite green tinge to them. Usually I would just rinse and reuse but I am wondering if I need to do anything extra to these ones

You could use hydrogen peroxide to get the algae residue off if you wanted to. That could also help disinfect them.
