is there anything i can do about the slight smell of my fish water my tank is in my livingroom some days are worse thhan others anybody got any natural remedies

Don't take this the wrong way, but maybe we could help you stop your water from smelling, instead of trying to mask the smell, because a well maintained tank shouldn't really smell enough to stop you enjoying your living room?

what does it smell like? Healthy tanks shouldn't be giving off an odor. Are there fish in there or are you cycling fishless? How often do you do water changes? What size tank and what fish if you have them?

Exactly! Putting your nose over the tank and taking a good whiff is a great daily check on a tank.

Something is wrong here if it smells.

it 20 gal cycled i hoover my sand every 3 days and change 7L it is halve planted it smells like an aquatic shop its not overpowering or anything sometimes you get a good whiff
