Will petsmart/petco special order fish for me?

I've never had luck with them and special orders. The mom and pop shops usually do or shops that specialize in saltwater like the one just across the state line for me. It's about a 25 minute drive but they will order anything you want. They will ship also.

Where I am I doubt it. Maybe you other Lfs which is privately owned may special order them .

Check online, I've had good success ordering online - all fish arrived safe and sound.

I am almost positive Pectco does, I do not think Petsmart does however. I heard that Pectco will put special orders on the list of fish they need to stock. Just ask one of their fish specialist.

Petcos around me definitely don't and as far as Petco fish specialist not so much, around me anyway... My 11 month old son knows more then they do.

IME Petco will only special order if the fish is on their order list. So even if they don't commonly carry that particular stock in store, if its on their list they will stock it. Just call and ask.

Lol i know what you mean, the one down the road from me sucks and nobody seems to know anything about fish except that they need water. LOL But a new one opened up alittle further away from me and it is awesome!!
