I have a 29 gal and was wondering on stocking
Would this be ok, or over crowded?

1 Archocentrus nigrofasciatus (convict/zebra cichlid)
2 Thorichthys rio obispo (rio obispo cichlid)
1 Thorichthys aureus (cichlid)
1 Ancistrus temminckii (bristlenose pleco)

any other ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not farmilier with the rio obispo cichlid. I did a quick search and found a site that doesn't recommend any tank less then 75 gal. I'm assuming because of the swimming space. The Nigrofasciatus is aggressive in nature whereas the thorichthys aureus is semi-aggressive. But with adequate hiding places, you shouldn't have a problem. And as usual the pleco would be fine. :D HTH

I meant two of the convicts, and two of the Aureus. That would put you at about 29 inches including the pleco.
