I got a new 10 gallon fish tank stand from petco today!dde00 I put it all together and the final step says to put the 4 soft stick on pads on the 4 corners of the stand. But I wondered how it would be a good thing. Wouldn't it put high and low points on the tank? Should I use them or not?

Yes you should use them because it could help the stand from getting scratched from your aquarium and if all the pads are the same size it won't put high and low points on the tank...
