Hello all,

So I come home today to find this (see picture) in my tank! What is it (I'm aware it's a snail!) and should it be removed?!

Cheers!

I'm calling it Gary!

It's a pond snail/bladder snail. Unlikely to overpopulate if you are careful to not overfeed. You can remove it if you want, but chances are, you already have one or more egg sacs in the tank. LOL.

And many fish enjoy their eggs...I can't get any to breed successfully in my ten gallon, dang it. *lol*

That doesnt look like a pond snail I have ever seen. It is too large, shiny, and solid looking... But maybe it is just a large one.

It's a larger one. I've got a couple that are almost as big as the nerites. O.O
