So i finally caught some video of these, they are in my QT TANK.

They eat live mosses and dead pond snails and usually only come out swimming and crawling when the lights are out.

They swim fast and well and sometimes corkscrew down. White, about the size and shape of the eye of a needle with no discernable features (legs, eyes, antenna, etc)
Ive never done any wild harvesting of plants and they dont bither fish, shrimp, or snails either

I was thinking scuds (amphipods, Gammarus sp) as well. I've also seen seed shrimp the size of sesame seeds. Huge. I saw them in a temporary pond and in a bird feeder. They spent more time swimming rather than crawling.

Theyre much smalled than scuds.

Do seed shrimp eat live moss and dead snails?
Ill check out seed shrimp
