Why are the rocks like this?? Help

Yesterday I put 5ml of nutrafin plant grow in my fishtank and today I got home and noticed the took look like they have a white coating. Is this bad? Will it go away?

If you stir it up, does it go away? Could be precipitate from the fert you added.

Hmmm that's odd. I will say some of the aquarium gravel available is painted and does fade over time. But since this just happened over night I'd say that isn't the case here. Seems like it would be somehow connected to the fertilizer. Never experienced this phenomenon myself - I have used that exact product in a tank with black gravel before.

Good news! The white is all gone today. It was strange but I guess it's dissolved or something now. So happy
