Why do my fish 'nibble' my fingers

If I put my hand in my 30 gallon tank my flying foxes will come over and start 'nibbling' my hand and fingers. (Not sure what else to call it). They don't do it if anyone else puts their hand in the tank
 
That's adorable. Fishy fingers! Not a problem I'm guessing. :lol:

They are trying to see if your fingers can fit in their mouths.
 
Mine will often nibble at my hands when doing weekly maintenance... I think it's awesome... Shows they trust you
 
My fish disappear during maintenance but my cherry shrimp are all over my arms. It's hard to withstand them as they tickle as they walk around. Ain't fish keeping grand!

My male guppies have done that. It's adorable. My females are finally getting bold enough to hand around me at the top during WCs. They are so sweet.
