Yoyo loach food

I just purchased 5 yoyos and I tried feeding them the same carnivore pellets I feed my pictus they pictus get to them and eat first to I was wondering what I could feed my very small (1.3-2in) loaches

Suck up some pellets and freeze dried or frozen bloodworms in a turkey baster and spot feed them

It seems the pellets are too big though for their mouths
