Armano problem

One of my armano shell has gone very cloudy and he's just sitting about not moving much all day kinda worried any ideas

lol do amanos molt ??? I have two and have NEVER seen them molt

They def. Molt, if they dont/won't you have water quality issues.

It is not uncommon for shrimp to consume the molted exoskeleton. It is a mineral source for them.

Yeah they have molted loads of times iv had them a while. This one has just been sitting about

Checking the tank to as haven't seen this shrimp for a while and she appears berried.
This can't be right I didn't think armanos breed in fresh water

They can become berried in freshwater but the larve wont survive.

I'm sure there is but I'm no expert. I've previously read a couple articles but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort unless you're doing it to sell them or you need to raise feeder shrimp to feed a large aquarium stock.

I have a couple that were berried a couple times. Then one day i woke and the eggs were gone and no sign of any larva. They probably got eaten by the rummynose tetras.
