I'll be getting an Axolotl at some point. I'll have either a 20l, or a 29g tank for it. It'll be planted, have driftwood, and IAL. It'll have sand, though I'm not sure what kind. I want a sand safe for them, but either black, or a natural dark color. The plants will be anubias, java moss, pothos roots, or other floating plants.

What are some nice, safe dark colored sands?

Would this setup be good for one wild type Axolotl? Or would I need to upgrade it when the Axolotl is fully grown?
