125 Gallon Acrylic - Good Deal?

I'm thinking about salt (have never done salt before) and found a 125 Gallon Drilled Acrylic Tank with round front corners and lids - nothing else - for $100.00

The tank has a few scratches, but mainly scuffs, quite a few scuffs - it's a used acylic tank...

It's a 48 x 24 x 24

I've never owned an acrylic tank but love they way they present a set up, for some reason (to me) everything looks better in acrylic as opposed to glass.

I have several questions:

1.) How difficult will it be to restore the tank and remove the scuffing?

2.) What are the baffles in the floor pan for?

3.) Is this a good deal?

I have no problem with a little elbow grease to offset cost... and I'm not concerned that it is perfect after restoration only presentable.

The baffles are for stability of the sand and rock I believe. I`ve never owned an acrylic tank but I have heard that the scratches and scuffs can be buffed out. If you do a search on the site here you`ll come up with some posts of people that did buff theirs. To me it sounds like a really good deal.

I purchased the tank.

I really like the 24'' width and I think it is going to clean up beautifully.

There are no holes or opening's in the top of the tank for canisters or hob's, this is a sump tank all the way and that means my next need is to learn how to set up a sump...... sounds like fun to me!
