So- my new anenomie crawled into a pretty tight hole in a piece of my live rock. I don't know a ton about these guys- should I be worried? Will he come out? He's been in there all day.

Give him some time. Mine moved around for a day, then stayed in a spot for little while, then moved again and has stayed there. He'll go where he wants to go, can't force it.
