How to setup fw dip

How do I setup a fw dip? I am using tap water b/c I can not get to the store today toget the ro water. Should I treat it ie aquaplus. Then what? I have it floating for the temperature but what about the pH? I have a superbuffer do I add that or salt?

Ideally you want the FW to match as close as possible the saltwater peramiters for temp and PH. YOu should treat the tap water with a declorinator also.

If you add salt make sure you dont add to much as then you wont be doing a FW dip anymore but instead just a SW dip.
