i have heard to many things about their diet. so i would like to know what you all feel is the correct diet for a fu manchu lionfish???

Krill, silversides would be the best. Supposedly some Lions will eat pellets, but I've never seen this. If you've just got one you might have to do live food for awhile. IE: feeder shrimp, and no goldfish what so ever.

Good advice from X the Outsider.

My dwarf eats flake food. But I don't give him that as a steady diet. I feed him krill, silverside and raw shrimp.

I feed Silversides, Krill, Scallops, Squid, Raw Shrimp, meaty foods on a Feeder Stick. I feed 2-3 smaller chunks every other day and twice a week I soak the foods in Zoe/Selcon & even garlic soaked some times.
I do have 1 lion that will eat pellets but only when it can catch them and I have seen my lions grab Nori chunks floating and spit it right back out. LOL
