Hello
so a few years ago i started a 55g sw tank (no fish just rock and sand) but then didnt continue because i got too busy. ive had a 10g sw tank up and running for over a year. i wanted to move whats in the 10g tank to the 55g but i wanted to use the old rock i already have and only buy new sand. so i would only 10 pounds of live rock. how long would it take to cycle and the rock to become live enough for fish? i need advice thank you. there is currently no fish in the 10g tank

You need 55 lbs+ of rock for a 55 gallon. Honestly, it may take a while although it is being seeded. Take it slow, add ammonia, check params, etc. Dont rush anything.
