Refractometer calibration

So I have a new refractometer (the one on BRS) also purchased their calibration fluid so my problem is when I calibrate to distilled water then check up against the solution it says that the solution is high by .002 so which calibration should I trust the fluid or distilled water.

Trust the calibration fluid.

In a pinch you can calibrate using ro/di water but it may end up a tiny bit off like you are getting with the distilled water.
