Refugium?

Ok I just added chaeto and some rock rubble, do i need sand to get pods?

Also I like to have Mysis/Gammarus so whats the best way?

also how to get these from my sump to my tank?

I would put a thin layer of sand in there.

pods will make to your main tank via return plumbing.

If it’s a HOB fuge then the pods, ect… will make it back to your tank without much trouble but if you have it under the stand most will get pretty chewed up by your intake pump. I would harvest them manually using a fine mesh net and place them in the tank. Keeping a sponge filter on the intake of your pump will keep them from getting sucked up, just make sure you rinse it frequently so waste doesn’t build up.
