Shrimp method?

Is the shrimp method necessary? My tanks been running for about a month and a half I have life sand live rock and a turbo snail and a nassarius snail. I haven't started testing the water yet but everything seems to be going well.

You won't know until you test, are you feeding everybody? The cycle starts when you have ammonia. I would start testing before your live rock becomes dead rock

Start testing gotcha lol I'm not feeding at all. Do u suggest any type of food?

I am not a salt water person. I know about fresh cycling. Salt is WAY too much work. Your tank is most likely not cycled. Plus you have to test like gravity, salinity, and other things. I hope you are doing your weekly water changes! I would read a few articles under the artices button at the top. in green

Just put a flake of any old marine fish food in but grind it between your figures as your adding rather than adding the flake whole
