Skimmer Advice

Does anyone has experience with the Coralife Skimmers? Are they Good Skimmers?

Save your money. They are not good skimmers. Look into an Octopus skimmer.

I have one and it is sitting in my junk pile. I think my tank does better without it since it wasn't doing anything anyway from what I could see.

@ccCapt what Reef octopus model do you recomend me? I have a 55gal tank but im looking to upgrade to a 125 in the near future... Thanks

I have a 125g & 40g sump. I'm using the reef octopus extreme XS 200. Works wonders and pulls out some nasty stuff. It goes idle often so i know it can handle the bioload.

But if you have the money, and space, i'd say go as big as you can.
