Skimmer question

Currently have a lees protein skimmer medium for my 36 gal. Bow tank, wanted to upgrade to an instant ocean seaclone 100. Wanted some opinions on if $60 would be a good price for a new one and if this even is a good skimmer?

Seaclone skimmers are complete garbage. I bought one and regret not listening to those that gave me the advice to stay away from them.
What is wrong with the one you are currently running?

The one I have uses an air stone, it does ok but not without a lot of tweaking. I wanted to upgrade to something with a pump that maybe needs less tweaking.

Many like reef octopus skimmers. I'm running an eshopps with results that I am happy with.

Heard good things about both octopus and eschopps, saw that seaclone for $60 and wanted something around that price range.

Sadly, you won't find anything in that price range that is effective. I never even got my seaclone to actually skim. This is the guy I run on my 55 reef and love it. The price wasn't too bad either.
