so i went to my lfs today and picked up a skunk cleaner shrimp. while looking at the tank where the shrimps were located, i noticed one skunk cleaner shrimp with obvious different body coloration. it still has the white stripe with the redness. but it's body, the abdomen and what-no, is white as oppose to yellow, which is what i thought it should've been.

when i asked the salesperson, he said he doesn't know why it's white instead of yellow and the fact that once in a while, the store does get some white skunk cleaner shrimps. other than the white body, this cleaner shrimp looks very healthy and active. anyone else has seen something like this?

Could be getting ready to molt..... you might be seeing a color difference as the old outer shell is beginning to separate from the new inner one.

to the point where other parts of the body remain the same coloration and just the belly area creamy white?
