Strange lighting question.

Ok I am in the process of setting up a tank it's cycling.

I have a 24g nano cube I think with 72 watts of light. I'm sure of all the lighting stuff.

My question is I want a anemone for my clown fish when I get one. Has anyone tried setting lights beside the tank to add addition lighting or is this just not possible? I'm still confused with all the lighting stuff.

you should really have a mature tank before buying such an animal...i would save up while the tank matures and get more lighting
