Okay, does coraline algae come in green? This stuff is all over this rock and is starting to appear on some other live rocks in my son's 10G nano. It's smooth, bright green, encrusting like coraline, and quite pleasing to the eye. I just don't want to let it go if it's a problem.

:D Cool shroom sprouted up on this one rock and cool polyps came up on another.

Tank has been up about six weeks, readings are excellent. 10% water changes every week with RO mixed with Kent salt mix. Penguin 125 and RIO 600. 14#LR, 10# LS 10#Aragonite. 10 blue leg hermits, 2 scarlet leg hermits, 4 Cerith snails, assorted stomatella varia that hitched along.
 
There is such thing as green, pink, purple, red, dark red, black and even brown coraline algaes, some appear more plating than others....see below

that is one talented fish! I bet he does plays for football teams too!
