This is Day 1, about 2hrs into it...right now its just saltwater and sand...rock gets in on friday of next week...so until then i have to watch this clear 
Took the plunge and going with a SW tank...

Looks like you're on the right track so far. What kind of skimmer and lighting are you going to use? Is it going to be a reef or a FOWLR?

If your running on a tight buget then you dont want to go reef because you need expensive lighting and expensive corals that die easly if your a beginner

Don't worry, the water will clear with time. This is normal. Where did you get the LR?

going with FOWLR...I'm not quite sure on lighting...Any good suggestions? the hood I have is for one flourencent bulb not 2. This morning it cleared up pretty good...still murky though. I got the live rock from WaltSmith...Will take some pix once it arrives.
