My sons have become interested in my tanks, so I'm getting them each a tank for their bedrooms.
We got my youngest (10 yrs) a 28g nano cube, but I need to build a stand for it. He wants a reef with mostly Zoas and he wants my Jedi Mind Tricks. He wants Zoas with comic-hero type names. Should be interesting.
My oldest (12 yrs) is getting a 55g that I found on Craigslist with hood, stand, sump, return pump, UV, CO2, T5 light and heater for $100! It was a planted freshwater tank. I am giving my coral guy the CO2 for his freshwater tank and UV for his QT. We are picking that up this weekend. My son wants fish-only, so there will be limitations due to size, but he is excited (so am I).
I will start build threads soon.
