water change while curing

I've read that you should do a 100% water change twice a week during a 3 week curing process. Is this too much or will once a week do? I will prob be curing 25 lbs in a 30 gal container. for the recommended 3 weeks.

I would do 50% water changes every other day, if the rock is uncured, it should cure within a couple weeks that way. If you click the articles link in my sig..there is an article on curing LR.
