Will this pipe layout work for a 120 gal aquarium?

Red 1" Open Channel
Yellow 3/4 " full siphon

Black 3/4" return to tank
Green 1" Emergency

Using a Sicci 4 40 gal Sump
There is a dam that came with this tank that is used to baffle the overflow to keep water out if so desired. I am using it on the left overflow to prevent stagnate water there because of no flow in that chamber

It seems to me like you're over complicating it a little bit.

Why not just use the 1" diameter pipes for a drain and the 3/4" openings for the return? That way, you wouldn't have to worry about the stagnant water and you'd have 2 separate returns to distribute the water more evenly throughout your tank. It would also allow you to get a little more dynamic flow

When you say drains, are you talking about full siphon?
I think about doing Durso's but felt like it would not be as quiet as the Bean or Herbie.

Nope, just a regular drain. The durst stand pipe works great, I can't hear mine at all.
